Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-05 · Effective: 2026-05-05

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. ("Kizzlo," "we," "us") regarding your use of the Kizzlo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Kizzlo.
  • You must not be a registered sex offender or be barred from using a dating service under applicable law.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
  • You must not be located in, or be a national or resident of, a country subject to a US Government embargo, or be on a US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

2. Account & security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@kizzlo.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings → Account → Delete Account; deletion is also processed if you email support@kizzlo.com.

3. Your content & conduct

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, videos, voice clips, bio, messages — "User Content"). By posting User Content you grant Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g. resize), display, and distribute it solely for operating, providing, and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except for backups retained for the period stated in our Privacy Policy and copies retained for safety / legal compliance.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service if you are under 18.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any person.
  • Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, child sexual abuse material, or that incites violence.
  • Use the Service to commit fraud, run scams (including romance scams), solicit money, or promote investment "opportunities."
  • Solicit prostitution or escort services.
  • Spam, send unsolicited advertising, or scrape the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass technical restrictions, reverse-engineer the app, or interfere with security features.
  • Use automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
  • Share another person's private information without their consent.
  • Post AI-generated photos, deepfakes, or other synthetic media misrepresenting yourself or any real person.

Detailed expectations are set out in our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

4.1 Pricing & billing

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold through Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency where available, and are clearly and conspicuously disclosed during the purchase flow as required by Apple App Store guideline 3.1.2. Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. does not directly process or store payment card details.

4.2 Auto-renewal & cancellation

Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • How to cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — the same channel you used to subscribe. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not require you to call us, mail us, or speak to a representative to cancel.
  • Pre-billing disclosure. Before you confirm any subscription, the app shows: (a) that you will be charged, (b) the amount of each charge, (c) the frequency, (d) when the first charge takes place, and (e) where to cancel.
  • Annual reminder. For paid subscriptions of 1 year or longer, and for free trials that convert into paid subscriptions, we send an annual reminder by the same channel you signed up through, identifying the subscription, frequency, amount, and how to cancel.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store and Google Play are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. Where local consumer law (including EU consumer-rights law and California's Automatic Renewal Law as amended by AB-2863, effective 1 July 2025) entitles you to additional refund rights, those rights are unaffected.

4.4 Free trials

Where offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. The conversion price, the date of conversion, and how to cancel are shown to you before you start the trial.

4.5 Virtual items

Virtual items (e.g. spotlights, smart-match credits) are licensed to you for use within Kizzlo, have no real-world value, and are non-refundable except where required by law. Unused virtual items are forfeited if your account is terminated for cause.

5. Content moderation policy (DSA Art. 14)

We moderate content on Kizzlo to keep the community safe and lawful, and to enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines. This section explains, in plain language, how moderation works.

  • Tools. We use a combination of (a) automated systems that scan profile photos, bios, and messages for known policy violations (e.g. nudity, child-safety violations, malicious links), (b) user reports submitted through the in-app report flow, and (c) human review by our trust-and-safety team.
  • Decisions we may take. Restricting access to specific content, removing content, hiding content from search, suspending or terminating an account, restricting features (sending messages, posting photos), and reporting to law enforcement where required.
  • Notice to affected users. When we take a moderation action, we notify the affected user with a statement of reasons including the nature of the decision, the facts and circumstances relied on, whether automated means were used, and the legal or contractual basis. See § 7 for how to challenge a decision.
  • Compliance with law. We act on valid orders from competent authorities and on notices submitted under the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Safety Act, the US DMCA, and other applicable laws. See /report-illegal-content.

6. How recommendations work (DSA Art. 27)

The "Explore" and matching surfaces in Kizzlo use a recommender system to decide which profiles to show you. The main parameters, in order of significance:

  1. Your stated preferences — gender, age range, distance, dating intention, and other filters you set in app.
  2. Mutual eligibility — whether the other user's preferences include you.
  3. Distance — derived from device locale and, where you've granted permission, GPS.
  4. Activity signals — recency of login, response rate, completeness of profile.
  5. Past interactions — profiles you've liked, passed on, or chatted with feed back into who is shown next.
  6. Verification status — verified profiles may be ranked higher to reduce exposure to fraud.

The recommender does not use sensitive characteristics (sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, etc.) to rank profiles, except where you've explicitly stated a preference and where doing so is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Your controls. You can change your filters at any time in Explore → Filters. You can opt out of personalized recommendations entirely from Settings → Discovery → "Don't personalize my feed"; with personalization off, profiles are shown in a non-profiled order based only on your hard filters.

7. Reporting, appeals & out-of-court redress

7.1 Reporting other users (in-app)

From any profile or chat, tap the three-dot menu and choose Report. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and, where the report is upheld, we remove the offending content and may eject the user who provided it.

7.2 Notice of illegal content (DSA Art. 16 / UK OSA)

For content you believe is unlawful — not merely against our Terms — see the dedicated notice mechanism at /report-illegal-content.

7.3 Internal complaint-handling system (DSA Art. 20)

If we take a moderation action against your account or content, you can challenge it for free through our internal complaint system for at least 6 months after the decision. Email support@kizzlo.com with subject "Appeal" and the reason you believe the decision was wrong. We process appeals diligently, non-arbitrarily, and respond within 14 days. If we reverse, we restore your account or content; if we uphold, we explain why.

7.4 Out-of-court dispute settlement (DSA Art. 21)

If you are an EU user and disagree with our final decision on an appeal, you may submit the dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. We will inform you of the available bodies in your Member State of establishment as part of the appeal outcome. Use of a settlement body does not preclude judicial proceedings.

7.5 Trusted flaggers (DSA Art. 22)

Notices submitted by trusted flaggers awarded that status by a Digital Services Coordinator under DSA Art. 22 are processed with priority. If you're a trusted flagger, indicate this in your notice.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or to protect the safety of our users or the Service. Where the violation involves illegal content or imminent risk to others, we may eject the offending user immediately. You may delete your account at any time from in-app Settings.

9. Online dating risks

Use Kizzlo at your own risk. Kizzlo is a tool that helps people meet, but we cannot guarantee what happens next. By using the Service you acknowledge that:

  • Profiles may misrepresent identity, age, intentions, photos, or relationship status. Verification badges reduce but do not eliminate this risk.
  • Other users may behave dishonestly, harmfully, or unlawfully — online or in person.
  • Romance scams, financial fraud, and identity theft are real and have happened to Kizzlo users. Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information to someone you've met online. We will never ask you for money via another user.
  • You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Kizzlo is not a party to those interactions and does not supervise them. Always meet first dates in public, tell a friend, video chat first, and review the Safety Tips inside the app (Me → Help & Safety).
  • If you experience an emergency, call your local emergency services first; we cannot intervene in real time.

10. We do not perform background checks

Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. does not conduct criminal background checks, sex-offender screening, or identity verification on every user. Profile photo verification (Kizzlo's "verified" badge) checks that the user holding the device matches the profile photos and is not a criminal background check. We reserve the right to use public records, our own technical systems, or third-party services to detect fraud, abuse, or risks to user safety, but we make no commitment to do so. Nothing on Kizzlo should be relied on as an endorsement of any user's character, fitness, or trustworthiness.

11. Copyright & the DMCA

If you believe content on Kizzlo infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that complies with 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to locate it on Kizzlo.
  • Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Send notices to: Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd., DMCA Designated Agent, 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051; email abuse@kizzlo.com. Our designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office at copyright.gov/dmca-directory.

Counter-notice. If you receive a takedown notice and believe the material was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice including the elements specified in 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3). We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant; if no court action is filed within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers. We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Misrepresentations in DMCA notices and counter-notices may result in liability under §512(f).

12. Apple-specific terms

If you obtained Kizzlo through the Apple App Store, the following apply in addition to these Terms:

  • These Terms are between you and Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. only — not with Apple Inc. Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. (not Apple) is solely responsible for Kizzlo and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Kizzlo.
  • If Kizzlo fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Kizzlo.
  • Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd., not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Kizzlo or your use of Kizzlo, including (a) product-liability claims, (b) any claim that Kizzlo fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (c) claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
  • Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd., not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual-property infringement claim relating to Kizzlo.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Google-specific terms

If you obtained Kizzlo through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service govern your purchase. Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd., not Google, is responsible for Kizzlo and any claims relating to it. Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and disclaims warranties to the extent permitted by law.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. does not guarantee that you will find a match, that other users are who they claim to be, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties — in those jurisdictions some of the above may not apply.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. (and its officers, employees, and affiliates) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or substitute services, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD 100.

Nothing in this section limits liability for (a) gross negligence, (b) willful misconduct, (c) personal injury or death caused by negligence (UK Consumer Rights Act, EU consumer law), (d) fraud, or (e) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your User Content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

17. Dispute resolution

Pending counsel review, disputes are governed by § 18 (Governing law) below. Once a counsel-drafted arbitration provision is added, this section will require individual arbitration of US disputes with limited carve-outs.

18. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved through § 17 will be brought exclusively in the courts of Singapore, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring claims locally.

19. EU consumer rights & withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer-protection law. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14-day right of withdrawal. Under EU Directive 2011/83 (and the UK CCRs 2013), you have a 14-day right to withdraw from any contract for the purchase of digital content or services concluded at distance. By starting to use a paid subscription before the 14-day period ends, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun. You can decline this acceleration at the time of purchase, in which case service starts on day 15.

20. General provisions

  • Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines) are the entire agreement between you and Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • Notices. We may give you legal notices through the Service, by email to the address on your account, or by posting them on this page. Notices to Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. must be sent to legal@kizzlo.com.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, war, government action, network outages).
  • Beta features. Features marked "beta," "preview," or similar are provided as-is and may change or be removed at any time.
  • Feedback. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Kenet Tech Pte. Ltd. a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
  • Third-party services. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; their terms govern your use of them.
  • Export controls. You agree to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations.

21. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email at least 30 days before they take effect (unless the change is required by law to take effect sooner). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
